Well, it looks like UK Drill Rap is popping.
Pop Smoke was recently killed in his home. The Brooklyn rapper did UK Drill Rap. With Welcome to the Party it was Pop Smoke’s time.
First blowing up with “Welcome to the Party” in April of 2019 and then following up with “Dior” this February, Pop Smoke blew up. After Welcome to the Party, Pop got on Genius.
When Pop Smoke was 16 he started selling drugs, and had two years on house arrest for a weapons charge. Then he began his music career in 2018.
In 2020 Pop Smoke, hopped on the JACKBOYS album and made a song called GATTI featuring Travis Scott. Where he would rap the viral lyrics (for some reason), “Ok, Ok”.
On February 7th 2020, Pop released Meet the Woo 2, which hit #7 first week. And now is on #36, even when he’s gone, it’s nice to know that we’re still appreciating him, so shoutout to everyone who is bumping Dior right now.
